Some of what I’m finding there….

I could tell you that God is not elsewhere and heaven is not later, but until you come to personally and regularly experience that, you will not believe it.

The moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.  All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred.

The best criticism of the bad is the practice of the better

Once we tap into the deeper stream of our own religion, we will recognize its fountains and springs everywhere.

People could change if they wanted to.

We haven’t got that kind of time !

We all came forth from God, and we will all return to God.

Our suffering is primarily based on ignorance.

How do we get people to change their behavior?

It is not “What would Jesus do?” but “How did Jesus ‘Be?'”

‘Boomeritis nondualism’ …where enlightenment is equated with the abdication of all intellectual responsibility.

Why can’t you be like the rest of us?

His deepest wish was to “have enough being to be nothing.”

Faith is not something that we have but something that we do

You need not be everything, in order to touch everyone.

Only those of us who place God first with all our hearts and souls and minds, and who are willing to sacrifice anything or any relationship that gets in the way, are likely to realize the Kingdom.  We have to be willing to go all out, day after day, for a lifetime.

You help me because you hear what I am trying to say.

Black people can’t be racist because we don’t have any way to take anything from the people with the power.

What the theologian shrinks from, the poet grasps intuitively.

It is not the arguments of theologians that solve the problems of the questioning heart, but the cry of the heart to Me, and the certainty that I have heard.

I thought I had more serving to do; I find I am the one who needs more healing.

Remember that Life’s difficulties and troubles are not intended to arrest your progress, but to increase your speed. You must call new forces, new powers into action.

I wanted the satisfaction of being a healer.  Well, I am a healer…and more; I am all of it.  I am God…at least that is what remains when I get rid of all of my attachments…including my attachment to being a healer.

By offering something essential from our hunger and coating it with our vulnerability, we call the greater truth into the open with the smaller.

In all honesty, at the time, I hated God.

We thought education was the answer, but it hasn’t changed their behavior.

I don’t know how.

So often, in our agitation and impatience, we hurry off…never imagining that where we first looked is now letting light through

They know not what they do.

I want to help him; why won’t he let me?

They are not going to hear what you say until they are ready.

Do you hear me?

If only my mother had known this before she died…

To think that you are somehow obliged to follow the author of the book to his own particular conclusion would be a great mistake. It may happen that his conclusion does not apply to you. God may want you to end up somewhere else

Some of my best thinking has been done face down in the gravel.

Any ‘supremacy’… any fundamentalism… does not belong and is destructive.

Who among us has not hated? None of us is fit to condemn. We can, however, stop the stoning. The pendulum stops here.

In meditation, the small self, like an administrative assistant, brings issues up all upset; the larger self smiles, hugs, thanks the small self and reminds her, “Be calm…everything is okay.”

Why do these things always happen to me? Do I bring this on myself? I feel like Job.

What feels like confusion is frequently our human refusal to see things for what they really are.

But not only in the great decisions of life accept and welcome My Will. Try to see in each interruption, each task, however small, the same fulfillment of Divine intent.

Lord, show me the way

I read this before and it made no sense; Now, it is crystal clear.

The response was there in all eternity, awaiting the cry, and only man’s failing to heed, or to listen, kept him unaware of the response, and unsaved, unhelped by it.

We don’t think to thank the breaking, until it’s all said and done

Why do I keep doing this to myself?

People are always asking me, “How can I get my brother to understand this?”

Jesus did not do everything.  Nor can Jesus do what is ours to do.  It is our responsibility to grow up into our own divinity, paying whatever price we need to in the process.

The next step in our journey is to shed that which interferes with clear contact with the authentic power that moves this Earth of ours.

Why don’t you understand me?

If I could just get you to see things differently.

They won’t understand until they are ready to; some people never do.

Why am I trying harder than the people I am trying to help?

My goal is to find a way to raise their consciousness.

She’s not ready for it.

I guess I need to start over; I don’t get it.

All in good time…

They are at a higher level of consciousness; that’s why.

Wake up and smell the coffee

He who has ears, let him hear.

When they get older, they’ll figure it out.

I want the wisdom that is so highly praised in scripture.

If I only knew how to get through to him.

I tell them what to do but they just don’t listen.

It takes one to know one.

Why can’t I change?

You’re not waiting on God; God is waiting on you.

Are you ready?

This is the afterlife; to the extend that we get it here, we get it there.

Christ’s commandment was to love our neighbor. Who is your neighbor? Everybody but you…everybody… and that includes the misguided souls who claim allegiance to a ‘supremacy.’
